Managed by The Ski Club of Victoria, Kandahar Lodge is a family friendly, traditional style ski lodge that offers affordably priced bunk style accommodation, with shared bathrooms, communal living areas and self catering communal kitchen. Features include an open fireplace, complimentary Wi-Fi, cosy lounge area, drying room and ski storage.

We pride our self on personal service and a friendly atmosphere that you only find at a club style lodge!

Centrally located within the Mt Buller Village, Kandahar Lodge provides 'Ski-in and Ski-out access” onto Shaky Knees and Bourke Street ski runs and Mt Buller Ski School and is the perfect place to stay and play this winter. With all resort facilities within a few minutes walk, Kandahar offers a warm and welcoming accommodation experience with magnificent views across the Victoria’s high country.

Our self catering kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, gas stoves, microwave ovens, refrigerators, freezers and dry goods storage area. Basic condiments including tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper are provided.

There are several shared bathrooms, showers and toilets conveniently placed on each accommodation level.

All linen, towels and basic bathroom amenities are provided.

Upon departure all guests are required to strip the beds and place linen in the bags provided.

All guests staying at Kandahar Lodge have access to the facilities at 'The Whitt', the Ski Club of Victoria’s other accommodation venue. 'The Whitt Restaurant' offers a modern Australian dining experience with a European flair to satisfy a ravenous appetite after a day of fun in the slopes and 'Ike's Bar', is a favorite meeting place for mountain locals for Apres drinks or an evening catch up with friends and family.
