Jump On a Bike
It's called the Family trail and it's dead-set fun and accessible for the whole gang. Little ones on training wheels can even join in. Leave plenty of time to make stops, take in the views and share some laughs.
Riding time: 30 minutes
Gradient: Gentle upwards and downwards slopes.
Fitness: Low endurance, low technical skill.
Description: Follow the green Bike Buller logo stencils on the road from the Clock Tower, along to the end of Goal Post Road where the trail begins. An easy, fun ride for the whole family. Popular with walkers, so always ride at a safe and controlled speed and be courteous to other trail users. Starts at the end of Goal Post Road and finishes at the Arlberg Hotel.
The free pump track is perfect for beginners practising balance, learning skills and improving confidence on a bike before heading out onto the trails. Advanced downhill riders enjoy a few pump laps too - perfect for finessing those skills and having fun at the beginning or end of the day. Look for the bright orange 'train set' in the village - the pump track is suitable for use by all ages and abilities including kids and can be ridden on any size or type of bike, scooters, roller skates/ blades and skateboards.
